A consultation paper issued by the Scottish Committee in June 2010 sought the views of stakeholders on the possible options to establish a coherent Scottish Tribunal Service.

Round table meetings

The Scottish Committee facilitated a number of round table discussion meetings with interested individuals and organisations, including Presidents of Tribunals operating in Scotland and also user groups including The Law Society of Scotland and the STUC. The information obtained at these meetings will also aid the Committee in forming its advice to Scottish Government. View a list of those who attended the meetings.

Consultation responses

There were over 30 responses to the consultation from a wide range of organisations and individuals with an interest in administrative justice in Scotland and the UK.

The views of all those who responded to the consultation along with the information obtained from the round table meetings are now being carefully considered and will help the Committee formulate its advice to Scottish Government towards the end of the year. View a list of respondents.
