AJTC response to consultation: Civil Bid Rounds for 2010 Contracts

This is the AJTC's response to the Legal Services Commission's (LSC) Consultation 'Civil Bid Rounds for 2010 Contracts'.
This consultation proposes broad changes to the way in which the LSC procure legal advice and representation including: the types of services they want to buy; where services will be delivered; how they will procure services; changes to the scope of funding; and key contract changes. This response focuses on proposals which affect users in the mental health and the immigration and asylum jurisdictions.
